Welcome
I didn’t always know I wanted to be a writer, but knew I loved the written word.

Here, you will find samples of my writing, including short fiction, snippets of upcoming novels, and updates about, well, everything.  My writing wouldn’t be what it is without the wonderful people who surround me.  So you will also find interviews and guest blog posts by some very talented writers whom I am honored to call friends.

Thank you for visiting and welcome.

“I think the draw to A Thirty-Something Girl–beyond Ms. Stull’s fantastic writing–is the ‘realness’ of the characters and story. This is not to say it’s everyday or forgettable, nothing like that; rather, it offers an unflinching look at the trials, tribulations and, most importantly, triumphs of adulthood through a character, Hope, that is relatable. That we instantly connect with. That we root for. And this is a testament more than anything to Ms. Stull’s storytelling ability, keeping us hooked from page one.” ~ Robert James Russell, Author of Sea of Trees

“L.M. Stull, in her debut novel, A Thirty-Something Girl, has penned a literary classic. Strong words for what could be called a Chick-Lit Romance, but true none-the-less. The realistic emotion portrayed throughout creates more of a personal essay / memoir feel than fiction. The characters are as Hemingway demanded “more real than real.” I was immediately drawn into the life of Hope, a woman trying to survive turning thirty as her life implodes. This novel could well be used as a textbook of well written prose. If you are a writer, in any genre, read it. This is how it is done” ~ Maxwell Cynn, Author of CybrGrrl

Tiana Laveen author. Cross Climax

Tiana Laveen was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and now resides in the southern midwest with her husband, two children, and feline companion. She enjoys a fulfilling and enriching life that includes writing books, drawing, painting, listening to music, cooking, and spending time with friends.

Tiana Laveen is a uniquely creative and innovative author whose romance fiction is geared towards those who not only want to temporarily escape from the daily routines of life, but also delve into social taboo as it pertains to interracial relationships. Tiana creates a painting with words as she guides her reader into the lives of each and every main character.

Her first book series entitled “Cross Climax” tackles interracial dating, marriage, and sexual relationships head on without any false bravado. “Cross Climax I” and “Cross Climax II” allow the reader to dive headfirst into short stories that are packed with seduction, romance, and heart-pounding punch. The two novels in conjunction lead to a surprising, but fulfilling conclusion.

Her third novel, “The Slave Master’s Son,” transports readers back to a time and place where interracial relationships were not accepted by the dominant society. The novel delivers a scintillating, historical account of one family’s struggles to deal with love, lust, and consequences.

About this author edit data
I was born October 10, 19** in good ole Queens, New York. I had a difficult childhood because I developed severe eczema and most of my schoolmates shunned me until high school. Books became my friend.
Early in life, I found myself fascinated by the macabre. I would actually set my alarm if one of my favorite Alfred Hitchcock, Rod Serling or One Step Beyond episodes was coming on late at night. These kept me up til the wee hours of the morning.
Being raised in Amityville was the icing on the cake. I went to see the actual “Amityville Horror” house and swear it literally took my breath away.
My biological mother died when I was 13, the age when puberty reared its ugly head. Needless to say, I was a wife and mother by the time I was 17, divorc…more

About this author edit data
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, I have a long history of reading and writing. Got my first library card at age 3 and have lived in literary lust ever since.

I began writing for publication based on a dare from a high school classmate, and have written and published more than 100 romantic short stories, and seven full-length novels. DREAM KEEPER (Genesis Press/Indigo) is my eighth and most recent novel. I am looking forward to its December, 2009 release, currently hard at work on WAYWARD DREAMS, the third book in the series. WAYWARD DREAMS is slated for a June, 2010 release.

I’ve also taken a turn back to my romantic roots with a short story and novella for Lady Leo Press. Readers can look forward to “The Twentieth Century Fox” — a novel…more
